In a world where humans have been exterminated like vermin by their worst nightmare; the Nemetirs. Mavy is the first to be reminded that Death walks side by side with her. Even more so when Bojan, Mavy’s mentor, mysteriously disappears, leaving her with the heavy responsibility of training the new generation of fighters in her village. Without having a choice, she now holds the fate of these young people in her hands.

Her new role compels her to forge an alliance with another clan of opposing beliefs in order to save a village ravaged by the Nemetirs. She will have to prepare for a war that threatens to destroy what little hope humans have left. She will learn every small decision has consequences worse than she could have imagined, and everything she cherishes can be lost in an instant.
